exhibition

16-27 January 2023 12-2pm, Monday-Friday

Martin Hall Exhibition Space, Loughborough University

An exhibition of abstract expressionist digital paintings; representations of the feelings, emotions and issues in coming to terms with being transgender as a 40 something in the early 2020s.

The covid lockdown period held challenges and difficulties for many people in many different ways. For Stevie, the medium of digital painting was chosen as means of creative expression, whilst access to traditional painting materials and locations were limited. It also worked within the day-to-day working life that had become the normal for at least two years and has become and continues to be an important part of their life.

All prints from the exhibition artwork were made available to buy via an online auction. All proceeds from this event will go to the charity:
Gendered Intelligence.
